Moving SUX

Well not really its the packing and unpacking that sux lol. We have sooo soo soo much stuff and I cant beleive that we need it all ugh I wish I could throw it all away and start from scratch lol. No!! I just need to become more organized (which Im planning to so with the move lol).
Funny story ( well i think it is) Ive been setting up the bills and so, I get this email from our gas company saying the new address is not real ( i was like what) called them ( the lady was super nice) and she said she was sorry but there is no record of our address at all in their computer so I was like shit what the hell am i supposed to do... well come to find out nothing in the new house is gas LOLOLOL. I asked the land lady when we first starting talking to her what took gas and she said everything ( sees how much she know about her properties) anyhoo I just thought it was a funny story.

I cant wait till this move is over so I can start crafting I feel like Im going through withdrawals LOL. All my craft stuff is at the new house. We havent moved in yet we're waiting for the utilities to be turned on. So looking at all these craft blogs makes me want to do stuff but I have nothing over here its a bummer but I will get over it lol. Well this was a nice time to vent lol. The kids just woke up so gotta go. Will be back with more crafts as soon as I can.....

Lipgloss and Black Giveaway

On another note I am moving tomorrow Whoohooo lol Im pretty excited ( I dont think my kids are though) We've been looking at this place for a week or so. Its n ot perfect but its a good starter home for our family :) well I will get on here soon to update and show some of the crafts Ive made this past week :)

I made my very first purse today...yay!!!! I am so proud of myself. Its not perfect at all but I still love the colors I used and the fabric is all from items I got in a $1 grab bag from the thrift store the bags are the size of 33 gallon trash bags I was super excited to see what kinda of stuff was in there. It had like 6 twin sheets (I dont have any twin beds in the house lol) tons of pillow cases and super sexy leather pants lol, and tons of socks (planning to use them for legg warmers for the kids this winter. Anyhoo back to the purse I made lol, I used a sheet, pillow case, tulle, and fake pearls (which I have grown to love). Drumroll please........

 So I love how it turned out, I didnt use any patterns or tutorials. I pretty much guessed the whole thing lol.I love the way the flowers look on this. I am posting this in a Lemon Squeeze Home contest.

New stuff

So Ive been so busy with life I kinda forgot I made this blog.
Well first I got a new sewing machine!!!!Woot Woot!!!!

Its not brand new but it works and I was super excited, I got it for $5 at the local thrift store here!!!! Came with everything needed and works like it's brand new.

Here are the projects Ive made since I got the sewing machine (none of which are perfect lol)

 This was a regular t-shirt, made it one shoulder then put the animal print silk ruffles. I didnt used to like animal prints but for some odd reason I have this new found obbesession with them lol!!

A bracelet made fo a of a bed skirt ( I think its like a fake suede) and bra clasp and fake pearl beads. Was bored and I really like big jewelry but I don't like the metal hurts my wrists, so I decided to make a fabric one.

I made a few skirts for my daughter, made a couple more bracelets, and my new found obsession is fabric flowers but my phones cameras not working. Will post more when I get a new better camera lol.

First Post

So I mainly wanted a place to show off my creations from t shirt recons :) My new found LOVE. I just started sewing and I love it. Sucky thing I only have a 1970s Kenmore sewing machine and don't know how to use it.

Well I know how to but it eats up the thread like crazy so Ive just been doing everything by hand.Its okay though Its relaxing at times especially when I have a couple of toddlers screaming and fighting over everything. So far (which hasnt been long maybe a month) Ive made a few things. Dont laugh but Im gonna show you the first thing I made. It was for my daughter, made from one of my shirts that were too small for me but I still loved the design so I thought " hey lets make a dress for Kaylee".

I used the sewing machine on this. All I did was cut off the sleeves and brought it in on the side. I still havent mastered hemming but I have a feeling I will eventually.

This is a shirt I made for my son. It was a medium plain ol band tee. He looks absolutely adorable in it but its so hard for me to get still pictures of him. I haven't figured out what to do with the collar idk.

 My first pair of shorts. I was so proud of myself (they are crapily(word) made) but I still like them very comfy. O and I made them from a plain black t shirt and a white one for the waist band .

I am SOOSOSOSO proud of this. Its 2 separate shirts the top part is an aropostal (idk) M mens shirt and bottom is from one of my maternity shirts. I also made the flower on the bottom. This shirt wasnt what I was going for at all. I wanted ruffles and bottons bit I could not figure out how to make a place for bottons so this is what i did instead. but it doesn't I'm still proud of how it turned out btw it doesn't fit I made it to small.

                Now these I made for a friend. Short Capri things. Out of a L fox shirt and an orange tank top.
